Pretty details that capture my heart from the London wedding of Jessica and Lee. Looking at these makes me feel inspired, and if a picture speaks a thousand words, then perhaps these are the visual representation of the dreams of Blush and Whimsy Photography.
The vintage style London Bridge wedding of Chantelle and Jason's was featured by the lovely Lou at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. You can see the full feature here!
Stanmer Park provided a spectacular backdrop for Sandy and Lydia's wedding portraits. Wide open fields, quiet trees, and wonderful vistas in every direction, it was hard to believe we had not long left the hustle and bustle of Brighton. It's always lovely to take a little bit of time after the ceremony for portraits for just the bride and groom, as it provides some of the only time you get alone as a couple on the busy day.
Such a sweet first look for Sandy and Lydia. It's amazing how much love and emotion can be charged into the moment of seeing each other just before the ceremony.
They met more than 7 years ago as lab partners at UBC where their chemistry proved to be the strongest experiment from their class. Jayne runs a popular make up and nail blog at Cosmetic Proof, and can always be trusted to have the most interesting nail art on hand, (pun totally intended!) We went all out West Coast on their engagement shoot, and started with the wild and gorgeous rainforest at Cleveland Dam, then moved onto the faded driftwoods and soft colors of Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver. Although they tried to convince me that they weren't "photo people", once the shutter started clicking they proved to be absolutely natural and comfortable, and we got some gorgeous photos as a result.
